Marmalade Pudding

Marmalade Pudding Recipe:

1. Sift the cake flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon together in a dish

2. In a separate dish, cream the butter and the sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy

3. Beat the eggs and add them to the fluffy mixture and stir the mixture until it is well blended

4. Stir in the sifted ingredients (from no.1)

5. Slowly add a 1/4 cup of milk and hot water while stirring the mixture after each addition until the mixture is smooth.

6. Stir in the vanilla extract

7. Heat the orange marmalade and pour it into a buttered baking dish

8. Pour the batter (mixture from no.5) into the buttered dish over the orange marmalade

9. Bake the pudding in a hot oven for 25 to 30minutes (the oven should be set at a temperature of 400F/204C) until it is well browned.

10. Serve it warm with whipped cream

1/4 cup Milk with hot water
1 cup orange marmalade
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
