Orange and Cranberry Breakfast Bowl Recipe:
1. Finely grate the rind from one of the oranges
2. Thinly pare the rind from another orange and cut it into thin strips and blanch the strips in boiling water for 1minute
3. Drain the strips and rinse them in cold water and set them aside
4. Cut the peel and pith from all the 6 oranges
5. Carefully cut out the segments of flesh from the oranges leaving the membranes
6. Put the orange rind, the water and sugar into a pan and stir over gentle heat until the sugar has dissolved
7. Simmer the contents for 5minutes
8. Add the cranberries and let the solution simmer for another 5minutes
9. Remove the pan from the heat and allow it to cool
10. Stir in the orange segments and chill for 3 to 4hours
11. Serve in small glass bowls and sprinkle with the reserved strips of orange peel
