Sherry Trifle Recipe:
1. Cook the egg yolks, sherry, sugar and salt in the top of a double boiler
2. Add the flour and cook for about 2minutes longer
3. Cool the mixture
4. Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites
5. Pour the sherry custard over the 12 soaked macaroons
6. Spread with whipped cream and garnish with almonds
List of ingredients required:
4 eggs, separated
3/ 4 cup sherry
1/ 2 cup sugar
A pinch of salt
1 tablespoon flour
12 macaroons soaked in sherry
Whipped cream
Almonds (garnish)
