Pot Cheese Dumplings

Pot Cheese Dumplings Recipe:

1. Cream the sugar and butter together

2. Add the lightly beaten eggs to the cream mixture and beat vigorously

3. Put the pot cheese through a sieve then add it to the cream and egg mixture

4. Add the cups of flour

5. Gradually add the tablespoons of milk or more if required, in order to make a soft dough

6. Thinly roll the dough out onto a lightly floured board

7. Cut the dough into 2 inch squares

8. Place the spoonful of diced apple in the center of each square

9. Pinch the corners together and roll the dumpling into a ball

10. Drop the dumplings into a large pot of boiling slightly salted water and simmer for about 10minutes (test 1 dumpling to make sure the dough is cooked)

11. Serve the dumplings hot with cinnamon and sugar

2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 lightly beaten eggs
2 cups dry flaky pot cheese
3 cups flour
6 tablespoons milk
A spoonful of diced apple
