Microwave Chocolate Fudge Sauce:
Yield: 1 1/2 cups.
Approximate cooking time: 3 to 5 minutes.
Ingredients:
- 1 (6 ounce) package semi sweet chocolate chips.
- 1 Tablespoon butter or margarine.
- 1/4 cup hot water.
- 1/4 cup sugar.
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup.
- Dash salt.
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract.
Method:
- Heat chocolate, butter and water in a 2 cup glass measure for 2 1/2 to 4 minutes: stirring frequently.
- Add sugar, corn syrup, salt and vanilla.
- Stir until well blended.
- Heat 15 to 30 seconds or until smooth and thickened.
- Serve over ice cream, cake or pudding.
