Cheese Pudding

Cheese Pudding Recipe:

1. Whisk together the eggs, milk, mustard, paprika and salt. Set it aside

2. Remove the crust from the bread slices and cut them into quarters

3. Grease a baking dish

4. Put a layer of bread slices on the bottom (the slices should not overlap each other)

5. Cover the slices generously with the grated cheese and the freshly ground pepper

6. Place another layer of bread slices on top of the cheese

7. Continue to alternate the layers until the dish has been filled

8. Pour the egg mixture over the dish and leave it for about 5minutes to allow the bread to swell and absorb the mixture

9. Bake the dish in the preheated oven for about 40minutes until the layer on top is browned

10. Serve the pudding by itself or with a vegetable

List of ingredients required:

8 slices buttered bread
450ml milk
4 eggs
1 level teaspoon dry mustard
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 level teaspoon paprika
6 oz (175g) grated cheddar cheese

The oven should be preheated at a temperature of 350F (180C)
