Pork Chops in Cider

Pork Chops in Cider Recipe:

1. Brown the pork chops well on both sides in the butter

2. Transfer the chops onto a baking casserole dish

3. Pour the water and cider over the baking dish

4. Sprinkle the chops with a generous pinch of basil, marjoram, paprika and salt and pepper to taste

5. Add the onions to the casserole

6. Cover the dish and bake the chops in a moderate oven of 350F (180C) for about 45minutes
to 1hour or until they are tender

7. Serve the chops from the casserole

List of ingredients required:

6 thick loin pork chops
3/4 cup cider
3/4 cup water
Salt and pepper
3 medium onions, finely chopped
A pinch of marjoram
A pinch of basil
