Egg and Salmon Cocottes

Egg and Salmon Cocottes Recipe:

1. Line the inside of four small cocotte dishes (ovenproof dishes) with the smoked salmon

2. Cut or fold the salmon so that it fits neatly

3. Crack an egg carefully into each dish

4. Season the eggs with salt and pepper

5. Spoon a tablespoon of cream over each egg

6. Stand the dishes on a baking tray

7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12minutes until the egg whites are just set

8. Garnish with the smoked salmon trimmings and serve hot

List of ingredients required:

(serves 4 people)

4 eggs
4 slices smoked salmon
Salt and freshly ground pepper
4 tablespoons single cream
Finely shredded smoked salmon trimmings (garnish)

The oven should be preheated at a temperature of 350F (180C)
