Cheese Sticks Recipe:
1. Sift the flour, baking powder and the salt together in a bowl
2. With a pastry blender, cut in the butter
3. Add the egg and the milk to make a manageable dough
4. Chill the dough for an hour
5. Grate the cheese
6. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured board into a 1/4 inch thick rectangle
7. Sprinkle half the dough with half the grated cheese and cover it with the rest of the dough
8. Press the edges together to seal in the cheese
9. Fold the dough again and roll it out to its original size
10. Repeat the process using the remaining half of the ingredients
11. Cut the dough into finger sticks and bake them in the oven at a temperature of 450F (230C) for about 10minutes until they are delicately browned
12. Store in a tightly covered metal container
