Chocolate Snaps Recipe:

1. Beat the egg whites until they are stiff

2. Gradually beat in the sugar to make a stiff meringue

3. Sift the flour and the baking powder together in a separate bowl

4. Fold the baking chocolate together with the sifted ingredients and the vanilla extract into the meringue

5. Drop the batter by teaspoons 2inches apart on a buttered baking sheet

6. Bake the cookies for about 10minutes in a moderate oven of 350F (180C)

1 cup confectioners’ sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 egg whites
1 oz (25g) grated baking chocolate
