Beef Stroganoff Recipe:
1. Cut the fillet of beef into thin strips
2. Sprinkle the beef strips with salt and pepper
3. Place the beef in the refrigerator or in a cool place for 2hours
4. Make a sauce by blending 1 tablespoon of flour with 2 tablespoons of butter over
gentle heat until the mixture bubbles and is smooth
5. Gradually stir in the cups of beef stock and cook for 2minutes until the mixture begins to thicken
6. Strain the sauce through a fine sieve into a saucepan.
7. Add the sour cream alternately with the tomato juice and stir constantly
8. Let the mixture simmer gently without boiling
9. In a separate pan, fry the strips of beef and the grated onion in the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter
10. When the meat is brown, pour it into the sauce and let it simmer gently for 20minutes
11. Serve immediately
