Marinated Eel Recipe:
1. Skin and clean the eel
2. Lay the eel in a circle at the bottom of a large pot
3. Add the garlic clove, salt and pepper, bay leaves, vinegar and olive oil
4. Cover the pot tightly and cook the eel gently for about 30minutes until it is tender
5. Remove the eel to a serving dish
6. Strain the juices from the pan over the eel and chill it thoroughly before serving

1 clove garlic, sliced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 bay leaves
1 cup wine vinegar
1 cup olive oil
