Blueberry Pie

Blueberry Pie Recipe:

1. Make a rich pie pastry by using 3cups of flour

2. Use this pastry to line a 9inch pie dish

3. Mix the cup of sugar, salt and the remaining flour together

4. Sprinkle a few tablespoons of this mixture evenly over the bottom crust

5. Toss the remainder of the mixture with the blueberries and pour them into the pie shell

6. Add a little ground cloves and the cardamom

7. Dot the fruit with the tablespoons of butter

8. Adjust the top crust, seal the edges and cut several slashes in order to allow the steam to escape

9. Bake the pie in a very hot oven of 450F (230C) for 10minutes

10. Reduce the temperature to 350F (177C) and bake the pie for another 30minutes

3 and 1/ 4 cups flour
1 scant cup sugar
1/ 8 teaspoon salt
4 cups of washed and well-drained blueberries
Ground cloves
1 and 1/ 2 tablespoons butter
