Cheese and Fruit Platter

Cheese and Fruit Platter Recipe:

1. Separate the lettuce leaves and cut off any coarse stems and damaged leaves

2. Wash the leaves and dry them thoroughly with a dry cloth

3. Remove the lower stems of the watercress and wash the leaves

4. Cut a slice from the top and bottom of each orange before removing the peel and all white pith

5. Thinly slice the oranges across

6. Arrange the lettuce in the center of a platter with the orange slices and pineapple rings around the edge

7. Arrange the cottage cheese on the fruit and garnish with sprigs of watercress

8. Coarsely chop the walnuts and sprinkle them over the cheese

Watercress bunches
2 oranges
4 pineapple rings
1 small head of lettuce
8 oz plain cottage cheese
2 oz shelled walnuts
