Salmon Steaks with Curry Sauce Recipe:

1. Melt half of the butter in a pan

2. Saute the onions in the butter until they are transparent

3. Remove the onions from the pan and transfer them to a plate

4. Add the remaining butter to the pan

5. Sprinkle the salmon steaks with flour, curry powder and salt and pepper

6. Saute the salmon steaks on both sides in the butter until the flesh flakes at the touch of a fork

7. Remove the steaks to a heated platter and keep them warm

8. Return the onions to the pan and heat them

9. Add 2 tablespoons of curry powder to the onions and mix well

10. Gradually stir in the sour cream

11. Heat the sauce but do not let it boil

12. Pour the curry sauce over the steaks and serve immediately

1/2 cup butter
1 cup finely chopped onions
6 salmon steaks
Flour
Curry powder
Salt and pepper
2 cups sour cream
