										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h2>Salmon Slices Baked in Cream Recipe:</h2>
<p>1. Wipe the slices of salmon and halve them</p>
<p>2. Sprinkle the slices with salt and pepper and arrange them in a buttered baking dish</p>
<p>3. Add enough cream to barely cover them</p>
<p>4. Add the bay leaf, cloves, onion, parsley and thyme</p>
<p>5. Bake the slices in a hot oven of 400F (200C) for about 25minutes while occasionally basting to keep the top slices from drying out</p>
<p>6. Arrange the salmon on a heated serving platter and keep it hot</p>
<p>7. Melt the cup of butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour</p>
<p>8. Gradually stir in 2cups of the hot cream in which the fish slices were baked</p>
<p>9. Cook the sauce while constantly stirring until it is smooth and thick</p>
<p>10. Season the sauce with salt and pepper and a little lemon juice and simmer it for 10minutes</p>
<p>11. Pour the sauce over the fish and sprinkle with the chopped parsley</p>
<p>12. Garnish the platter with the lemon wedges, cucumber slices and the eggs</p>

Cream<br />
1/2 bay leaf<br />
2 cloves<br />
3 slices of onion<br />
4 sprigs parsley<br />
Sprig of thyme<br />
1/4 cup butter<br />
1/4 cup flour<br />
A little lemon juice<br />
Finely chopped parsley</p>

<p>Lemon wedges<br />
Cucumber slices<br />
Halved hard-cooked eggs</p>
