										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h2>Rump Steak Recipe:</h2>
<p>1. Trim the rump steak and cut it into 6 pieces</p>
<p>2. Beat the steaks flat with a rolling pin</p>
<p>3. Peel and finely chop the onion</p>
<p>4. Grate the lemon rind finely</p>
<p>5. Squeeze out the juice from the lemon and strain it, set it aside</p>
<p>6. Melt 2 oz of the butter in a large pan and fry the onions for about 5minutes or until they are soft and transparent</p>
<p>7. Lift the onion onto a plate and keep them warm</p>
<p>8. Fry 2steaks at a time over high heat for about a minute on both sides</p>
<p>9. Lift them out and keep them hot</p>
<p>10. Melt another 2 oz of butter until it starts foaming</p>
<p>11. Fry the other 2 steaks</p>
<p>12. Melt the remaining butter and fry the remaining 2 steaks in the same way</p>
<p>13. Return the onions to the pan</p>
<p>14. Stir in the sugar, lemon rind and juice, few drops of the sauce and the parsley</p>
<p>15. Cook the ingredients lightly then add in the steaks</p>
<p>16. Flame the steaks with warm brandy</p>
<p>17. Serve the steaks with the onion and brandy poured over them</p>

<p>(serves 6 people)</p>
<p>1 small onion<br />
2 level teaspoons caster sugar<br />
1 large lemon<br />
6 oz unsalted butter<br />
1 and 1/2 lb top rump beef<br />
Worcestershire sauce<br />
4 tablespoons brandy<br />
1 level tablespoon chopped parsley</p>
