<p>1. Sift the flour and the salt in a bowl</p>
<p>2. Rub in the margarine</p>
<p>3. Add the mashed potatoes to the flour mixture and mix well</p>
<p>4. Add the milk and make a soft dough</p>
<p>5. Roll the dough out and cut it into 10 to 12 rounds or segments</p>
<p>6. Bake the cake on a lightly floured baking tray in the preheated oven for about 30minutes</p>
<p>7. When serving, split the cakes and spread them with butter</p>
<h2>List of ingredients required:</h2>
<p>8 oz self-raising flour<br />
1 teaspoon salt<br />
3 oz butter or margarine<br />
6 oz warm mashed potatoes<br />
2 and 1/2 fluid oz milk<br />
Butter</p>
<p>The oven should be preheated at a temperature of 450F (230C)</p>
