<p>1. Mix the beef, veal and pork together in a large mixing bowl</p>
<p>2. In a saucepan, saute the onions in 2 tablespoons of butter until they are golden</p>
<p>3. Add the sauted onions, bread crumbs, eggs, salt and pepper to the mixing bowl and mix well</p>
<p>4. Shape the mixture into tiny balls</p>
<p>5. Saute the balls in the remaining 6 tablespoons of butter, until they are brown (Shake the pan constantly to prevent the balls from flattening)</p>
<p>6. Turn the meat balls into a deep casserole and keep it warm</p>
<p>7. Add the tablespoons of flour to the saucepan, in which the onions were sauted</p>
<p>8. Stir the heavy cream into the pan and cook the sauce over low heat for about 10minutes while constantly stirring</p>
<p>9. Season the sauce with salt, pepper and the nutmeg</p>
<p>10. Pour the sauce over the meatballs when serving</p>
