<p>1. Beat the cottage cheese until it is smooth</p>
<p>2. Press the cheese through a fine sieve</p>
<p>3. Add the cup of sour cream</p>
<p>4. Add the hot cups of mashed potatoes</p>
<p>5. Add the teaspoon of salt and mix well</p>
<p>6. Line the bottom and sides of a pie plate with pie dough</p>
<p>7. Fill the plate with the cheese and potato mixture</p>
<p>8. Brush the top with a little milk and dot it with small pieces of butter</p>
<p>9. Bake the pie in a moderate temperature of 350F (176C) for about 45minutes or until the the shell and filling are golden brown and serve warm</p>
