										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h2>Coffee Rum Ice Cream Recipe:</h2>
<p>1. Scald the milk in the top of a double boiler</p>
<p>2. Mix the sugar, flour and a little bit of milk to form a paste</p>
<p>3. Add the paste to the scalded milk and cook the mixture while constantly stirring until it is a thick and smooth sauce</p>
<p>4. Beat the eggs well and mix them with a little of the hot sauce</p>
<p>5. Add the eggs to the sauce</p>
<p>6. Continue to cook the custard while stirring until it is thick enough to coat a spoon</p>
<p>7. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the gelatin and the salt</p>
<p>8. Cool the cream, stirring it from time to time</p>
<p>9. Add the coffee extract and the rum</p>
<p>10. Fold in the cups of whipped heavy cream</p>
<p>11. Freeze the ice cream</p>

<p>2 cups milk<br />
1/2 cup confectioners&#8217; sugar<br />
1 and 1/2 tablespoons flour<br />
2 eggs<br />
1/2 teaspoon salt<br />
1 teaspoon gelatin softened in 1 tablespoon cold water<br />
2 tablespoons coffee extract<br />
Dark Jamaica rum<br />
2 cups heavy cream, stiffly whipped</p>
