<p>1. Beat the egg whites until they are stiff</p>
<p>2. Gradually beat in the sugar to make a stiff meringue</p>
<p>3. Sift the flour and the baking powder together in a separate bowl</p>
<p>4. Fold the baking chocolate together with the sifted ingredients and the vanilla extract into the meringue</p>
<p>5. Drop the batter by teaspoons 2inches apart on a buttered baking sheet</p>
<p>6. Bake the cookies for about 10minutes in a moderate oven of 350F (180C)</p>
