										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h2>Halibut Casserole Recipe:</h2>
<p>1. Wipe and skin the halibut</p>
<p>2. Butter an ovenproof casserole dish</p>
<p>3. Place the halibut in the dish and cook for about 15minutes in the middle shelf of the preheated oven</p>
<p>4. Remove the dish from the oven</p>
<p>5. Sprinkle the onion over the fish</p>
<p>6. Mix the cream and lemon together</p>
<p>7. Pour the lemon mixture over the fish and dust the top with paprika</p>
<p>8. Cover the dish with a lid or foil</p>
<p>9. Return the dish to the oven and cook for a further 20minutes, basting it twice with the cooking liquid</p>
<p>10. Trim and slice the mushrooms</p>
<p>11. Sprinkle the mushrooms and the shrimps over the fish</p>
<p>12. Cook for a further 15minutes and baste twice again</p>
<p>13. Transfer the fish to a warm dish and pour over the liquid</p>
<h2>List of ingredients required:</h2>
<p>2 lb piece halibut<br />
1 heaped tablespoon finely chopped onion<br />
3 oz peeled shrimps<br />
1/4 lb button mushrooms<br />
2 oz unsalted butter<br />
2 heaped teaspoons paprika<br />
Juice of half lemon<br />
1/2 pint double cream<br />
Puff pastry crescents (garnish)</p>
<p>The oven should be preheated at a temperature of 325F (160C)</p>

<p>7. With a potato masher, work in gradually the cups of milk</p>
<p>8. Shape the mixture into walnut-sized balls</p>
<p>9. Simmer the balls in the stock until they are cooked through</p>

1 tablespoon cornstarch<br />
1 tablespoon flour<br />
1 tablespoon salt<br />
1 beaten egg<br />
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg<br />
