Stuffed Ham Slices Recipe:

1. Melt the butter in a saucepan

2. Saute the mushrooms and the onion in the butter until they are soft but have not taken on any colour

3. Add the teaspoon of Dijon mustard, bread crumbs and enough chicken stock to moisten

4. Spread the mixture on the slices of bacon

5. Fold the bacon slices in half

6. Wrap each slice in aluminum foil

7. Bake the wrapped slices in a moderate oven of 350F (180C) for about 25 to 30minutes

2 tablespoons butter
1/ 4 lb mushrooms, finely chopped
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
3/ 4 cup bread crumbs
Chicken stock
Thinly sliced, cold baked ham
