Shortbread Ingredients:

  • 85g (3 ounces) baking margarine
  • 175g (6 ounces) flour
  • 60g (2 ounces) sugar

Topping Ingredients:

  • 120g Stork (4.2 ounces) Bake
  • 2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 85g sugar (3 ounces)
  • 1/2 tin condensed milk (7 oz)

Additional Ingredients:

  • Dark chocolate

Shortbread Method:

  1. Rub baking margarine into the flour
  2. Add the sugar.
  3. Mix to a shortbread consistency and press into a greased pan.
  4. Bake at 150ºC (302ºF) for 30 minutes.

Topping Method:

  1. Melt ingredients together.
  2. Simmer for 7 minutes.
  3. Pour over the shortbread.
  4. When cool, melt the dark chocolate and spread over the top.
  5. Keep in the fridge.
