Grilled Apricots Recipe:

1. Turn the grill on full heat

2. Base a shallow oven-proof dish with half the butter

3. Drain the apricots in the dish, with the hollow side upwards

4. Sprinkle enough sugar over the top to cover them

5. Dot the remaining butter over the sugar and put the dish immediately under the grill

6. Grill for about 5 to 10minutes until the sugar has caramelized and the dish is sizzling

7. Serve hot with cream or thick creamy Greek yoghurt

(serves 4 people)

2 oz (50g) butter
2 * 14 oz (400g) tins apricot halves
3 to 4 oz (75 to 115g) demerara sugar
