Creamed Chipped Beef Recipe:

1. Finely chop the steak

2. Heat the butter in a large shallow pan

3. Fry the steak over moderate heat so that the steak browns quickly

4. Increase the heat

5. Add the spring onions to the pan and stir for 1minute

6. Stir in the soured cream, horseradish and salt and pepper to taste

7. Stir the mixture over the heat for about a minute further then serve

List of ingredients required:

(serves 4 people)

3 finely chopped spring onions
150ml soured cream
1 level teaspoon freshly grated horseradish
1 oz (450g) rump steak
1 and 1/2 oz (40g) butter
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
